Mixed Methods in Applied Linguistics is a professional, refereed journal which is published by Lorestan University, Khorramabad, Lorestan Province, Iran. The Bi-Quarterly (MMRAL) is a double blind, peer reviewed, and open access international journal on applied linguistics issues following a mixed-methods design, encouraging submission of previously unpublished papers on the aforementioned issues. Manuscripts should be sent electronically via journal website available at https://mmral.lu.ac.ir. More information about guidelines for submission and the policy of the journal is provided in other parts of the website. Only articles received through the website of the journal will be sent to reviewers for cosideration.

The main goal of the journal is to publish papers following a mixed methods design. However, papers following a purely quantitative design or a purely qualitative design are also considered for publication.
